WHAT IS RIBBED FABRIC?
Changing technology and technological products developing at a dizzying pace continue to innovate in the fabric industry, as in all production areas. Rib fabrics made with the most advanced machines of double-plate circular knitting systems are, in short, a type of fabric obtained by placing the cylinder and cover needles diagonally relative to each other in the knitting machines we mentioned. These double-layered knitted fabrics have extremely high flexibility in the transverse direction.

• High transverse elongation of rib knitted fabrics,
• It has longitudinal stretching feature.
• It has the ability to glide on the skin,
• It never curls from the cut edges. Sometimes the last stitch may be missed.
• One of its most important features is that it keeps the body temperature balanced and warm as it traps air between two layers of knitting.
• This is a superior feature that cannot be seen in other fabrics. It should be known that if the number of purl and facing stitches of the ribbed fabric is equal, the front and back sides of the fabric will have the same pattern and appearance, therefore both sides of the fabric can be used in the same way.
